A foley artist creates sounds for a film starring a dressage horse and dissolves into his own imitation.Shot on 16mm film, PASSAGE alludes to Eadweard Muybridge’s pre-cinematic experiments with horses.
I realised the foley sound as there was no sound recorded on set and than mixed with musical elements.
THE WILL

by Sungeun Kim, Jenny Cho
The film is a visual experiment dealing with a political rupture namely “the candlelight revolution” in S.Korea in the winter 2016-2017. Performance and pre-enactment were employed as new documenting tools, as the film creates dialogues between the past archive and the newly constructed scenes. The work is largely inspired by Nagisa Oshima’s 1970 film “The Man Who Left His Will on Film” from which the excerpts were also used.

Pol Merchan's hybrid doc fluidly moves from the documentation of the punk era to a more performative exploration of gender.

Hatsune Miku is a "vocaloid", a synthesizer software. To promote it, a cute manga character was created that quickly rose to stardom among the Tokyo "otaku" sub-culture. Her entire persona: lyrics, music and animation - is fan created, and that's her charm. She performs sold out concerts as a hologram.
For the soundtrack i used myself this vocaloid software and mixed it with other instruments. The computer music and the artificial ambience ( with bird toys sound and similar ) alternates with instrumental music.

>>>>>>>>> AND SOME PREVIOUS VIDEO WORK OF MINE RELATED TO SOUND
ISLE OF MAN , 1.47min , 2011
Sound excerpts of an experimental video I made at a weekend workshop with Lior Shamriz. With the lyrics of Laurie Anderson song 'big science 'as reference i made a scifi video about the search for the center of gravity, a sense of belonging, while being surronded by art students (UdK) and an unfamiliar landscape (German countryside in Sauen, Brandenburg ). I used the music of Egisto Macchi, an Italian avantgarde composer, and some elements of Laurie Anderson's song.
